Drivers getting ticketed for violating new cell phone law - San...
I always wanted to get air horns (like, full-on semi truck blasters) on my little honda civic just to scare off SUVs. Are they easy to install? Wonder if they would fit under the hood. (Wednesday Jul 2 | post #4)
Why The Oakland Raiders Will Win The AFC West in 2008
Yeah, I am a Raiders fan, and even I can't believe they'd come close to winning the AFC West this year. (Tuesday Jul 1 | post #312)

I can't imagine the revenue from the hands-free tickets will amount to much. Generally, I'm not supportive of driving safety laws that impact personal choice (if some idiot wants to ride sans helmet, let natural selection work its wonders) but in this case I've had enough near-misses with idiots gabbing that it will hopefully make the roads slightly safer. Now if they can just ban texting while driving... (Tuesday Jul 1 | post #2)
You win the weekly "King of Sunnyvale" award. Swing by any Burger King to pick up your crown :-) No, I don't geo-cache, but it does sound like a lot of fun. I hear the valley is loaded with caches. (Monday Jun 30 | post #4)

Yeah, having eaten there twice, I'd say it's the best pizza I've had on the West Coast. Maybe in the US. (Friday Jun 27 | post #1)
Poll: Schools not properly preparing kids for life
Yes, I am always surprised by the lengths some parents will go to absolve themselves of any responsibility in educating their children about life, and schools are the obvious scapegoat. For example, how any parent can raise their kid without a firm grasp of how simple concepts like credit and compound interest can make or break their lives in the future is beyond me. School is only part of the solution/problem, and if parents aren't involved enough it's just a recipe for failure. (Friday Jun 27 | post #5)

Thanks for the feedback Bob, Oh wait, a quick look at the admin view reveals: IP address: 64.105.141.242 Reverse DNS: mx.merchantcircle. com. You're posting from inside MerchantCircle? The next time you want to anonymously snipe at competitors, at least have the common sense to do it from outside your corporate domain. Also, it probably doesn't sit well that our CEO is also on your board of directors... and MerchantCircle buys feeds from Topix. Shall I go on? Here's a tip: Maybe you should spend less time screwing around on your competitors sites (and hassling merchants with unsolicited phone calls) and spend more time building a quality product. Have a great weekend! http://private.dns stuff.com/tools/ip all.ch?domain=64.1 05.141.242 (Friday Jun 20 | post #2)
Firms value LinkedIn at $1 billion
I probably use this site at least once a day to track down contacts and connections at other companies. It's damn useful, but that just might be due to my line of work. (Thursday Jun 19 | post #4)
