Global warming is real. Whether it's man-made or a cause of nature. The fight against global warming by our autority figures is pretty much a scam. A lot of people jumped on the band wagon in the beginning that were diehard activists against it and then it was taken over by the elitist who saw it as a money making venture...which it has turned out to be. Once again, we're exploiting our Earth.

I can hear the lunatic conspiracy fringe chomping at the bit for a hurricane to hit the mainland US... So they can blame Bush for something else.

Hurricanes, like other natural phenomena, have been occuring since the beginning of this world.
If by the post above you are implying that the timing of this hurricane is substantially different, you should do some research.

I would have no disagreement that we are exploiting the earth.
Global warming has taken place before (before the industrial age) and will probably continue to do so on long-term cycles.
We can do our part, but it's still going to occur as a natural phenomenon. We just don't need to aid it in happening sooner than later. JMO
