Manage your password

Set your Forgot Password challenge question

Use your challenge question to set a temporary password in the future.

Note: You must have a valid (not expired) password to set your challenge question.

  • If you forget your password, you can set a temporary password by answering your challenge question. Example: What is my favourite colour? Turquoise
  • When you reset your password using the challenge question, the new password is only temporary and is used to log you into the ‘change password’ facility.

Go to: set your challenge question now for further information.

Set a temporary password

If your password has expired and you’ve previously set up a challenge question, you can use your challenge question to set a temporary password. Once you do this, follow the prompts to set your new 90-day password.

  • Passwords must be at least eight (8) characters in length
  • Passwords must contain at least one letter and at least one number
  • Please refer to the ITS Password Security Policy.

Change your password

Use your current (not expired) or temporary password to set a 90 day password.

Note: You cannot change your password if you do not already have a valid (not expired) or temporary password.

When you change your password remember that:

  • New passwords must be at least eight (8) characters in length
  • You cannot use previous passwords
  • Passwords must contain at least one letter and at least one number
  • When you change your password, the new password lasts for 90 days
  • Please refer to the ITS Password Security Policy.
