PrivacyRMIT University protects the privacy of any personal information volunteered by visitors to its websites, staff, students, and others who have rights to login to them. RMIT complies with State and Commonwealth privacy legislation through the RMIT Privacy Policy in its handling of all personal information. In accordance with the University Privacy Policy, Adrienne Patterson, Assistant University Secretary, has been appointed as the Privacy Officer. Recently the policy and procedures relating to privacy have been reviewed and revised to draft status. There are also new guidelines for managing meeting documents that contain personal information. The revised documents have not yet been approved, but are available for comment until 15 October 2007 at the draft policies web page.
