I THINK GAY PEOPLE KNOW IN THEIR HEARTS THAT BEING GAY IS WRONG. THATS WHY THEY WANT TO BROADCAST IT. I DONT AGREE WITH BEING GAY BUT I FEEL THAT, THAT IS SOMETHING THAT THAT PERSON HAS TO ANSWER TO GOD ABOUT. I'VE MET GAY PEOPLE IN MY LIFE AND FOR THE MOST PART I DIDNT KNOW UNTIL WE HAD A CONVERSATION. MOST PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THE GAYS WHO BROADCAST IT, SUBCONCIOUSLY I THINK THEY KNOW IT'S NOT NATRUAL BUT IT IS A CHOICE. DONT FORCE IT UPON SOCIETY, JUST DO YOU.

I wonder why they mope and gripe about it. If you couldn't obtain benefits because of YOUR sexual preference, color, religious beliefs, wouldn't you be broadcasting it? "I BELIEVE IN A GOD, WHAT DOES MY BELIEF SYSTEM HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH HEALTH INSURANCE?"

BTW, I wish people like you would stay out of people's lives. It's not a question of being right or wrong, it is a question of who cares what I do or my wife does behind closed doors.

Real Americans believe in freedom for people unlike themselves.

That includes people of other races, faiths, and sexual orientation.

An attempt to rally people to support stealing other people's freedom-- that's the wrong here.

If you don't support freedom for all Americans, move now.

Sounds like you're narrow minded yourself. If you had friends and the only problem that they had was that didn't like gays, doesn't that make you like them? My way or the highway? You supposedly say that you tolerate all, straight or gay, but it seems to me that you have no tolerance at all.

I had a co-worker once, who was a very opened minded individual. He had known people in various circles that were both elightended (gay) or unenlightened (neo-nazi) and he was able to tolerate thesep people in spite of their disgusting viewpoints.

I think you should try to pratice what you allegedly preach. Or is that too much for to comprehend or handle?

It would seem the only people that broadcast it, is the people that have a PROBLEM with it. Otherwise, why would anyone say anything about it?
It would seem you BIG VELLI have a problem with just about EVERYTHING. If thats the case, seek professional psychological help. And let people live their own lives!!
Nobody has said anything about YOU!! Well until now, but your the ONE broadcasting the fact that you have a problem with life in general. Get over yourself!! Idiot!!

The loudmouth Christians are far more annoying. At least gay people don't feel some need to convert you to the Church of Teh Ghey. Bible thumpers, on the other hand, keep trying to convert you.

I wish they'd all just keep quiet.

Because they're attempting to convince themselves and everyone around them it's ok. They're looking for approval and acceptance.

Its a sad world when people feel they don't have approval from others to be a part of it.

Ive never stayed away from gays just because they broadcast it. Like any other people though, when we tell them the truth we get insults and when we answer their insults with insults it drives them further away from opening up to any help. On the other hand if this hate crimes bill gets pushed through I do think most of us will feel very uneasy about talking to someone gay because you wont be able to be honest with them at all without being in trouble with the law. I feel bad that this will even drive a bigger wedge between us and them.

Ive never griped about it either and dont come right out and tell someone I feel they are wrong without them approaching me and saying something, or in a situation like this when theres a forum for discussion. I stay away from the forums that say christians are nuts because I know who goes there, people who have their minds made up and they are looking for a fight. Its hard sometimes not to offend people if they are looking to be offended though.

I think everyone is looking for freindship and love from others. That includes them.

For starters, it absolutely amazes me how many bigoted, hate filled heterosexuals start threads about gay topics. It's really starting to make me wonder. I mean, if they 'don't care', why do they indulge in the conversations all the time?

Secondly, most of us do not "broadcast" our sexuality. Think about it, heterosexuality is broadcasted in every facet imaginable. TV, commercials, radio, ads, so on and so forth.
How many of you have photos of your spouses on your office walls or desks? Is that not broadcasting your sexuality?
But if I put a photo of my wedding to my wife, that would be wrong?

Can you not see how blatantly hypocritical that is??

I read the capital letters and the boistrous language and I think to myself: Why is this guy so obsessed with gays? It's not a question of being right or wrong any more than blond or brunet is right or wrong. It's just the way some people are. And the straw man question you pose of why gays advertise it so much is silly. You're the one who started this chain, so you're obviously the one who is interested in the topic.

Not me! They make me sick. Call me homophobic or whatever you want. I don't care. Being gay is wrong and I wish they would all be put on an island somewhere. You can have a big ole group hug with them if you want but count me out.

Are you planning on having a family? And if you are, How the hell do you plan to do this? Don't you think all children should at least have the right to have a father in their life? If the whole world were gay how would we repopulate? Children should not be subjected to being raised by 2 males or 2 females. This is not right and not normal and definitely not fair for children. If gays want to be gay, fine but leave the kids out of it.

I don't think of putting a photo of your wedding would be wrong. It could turn out to be a nice conversation starter, at least from my point of view.
