Final date for students to apply to graduate at the 2008 Melbourne Graduation Ceremony. Note: Students wishing to graduate in absentia or at an overseas ceremony in 2009 can still apply after this date.

Confirmation of Attendance information is mailed to students who have applied to attend the Melbourne Graduation Ceremony and have been confirmed as eligible to participate by their school.

Monday, 29 September

Graduation Parade registration opens.

Friday, 24 October
|
- Final date for students to confirm their attandance at the Melbourne ceremony and pay the graduation fee.
- Graduation Parade registration closes

Monday, 27 October – Friday, 14 November
|
Exam period for Higher Education and TAFE students.

Monday, 17 November
|
Gown and Ticket Collection letter is mailed out to students who have confirmed their attendance and paid the ceremony fee.

Wednesday, 3 December – Thursday, 4 December
|
Gown and ticket collection days at Storey Hall, Building 16, Level 5, (9 am – 8 pm) for students who confirmed their attendance and paid the ceremony fee. Graduation services such as photography, framing, plaques and rings are available on these days.

Tuesday, 9 December – Wednesday, 17 December (noon)
|
Additional gown and ticket collection days to be held at:
University Function Room, Building 8, Ground floor (next to Kaleide Theatre) between 10 am and 5 pm

Saturday, 13 December, Sunday, 14 December and Monday, 15 December
|
Special photography days held at Storey Hall. 10 am – 6 pm (Arthur Reed Photos, graduation framing, plaques and rings available).

Friday, 12 December and Monday, 15 – Tuesday, 16 December
|
Graduation Parade (only) participants to collect academic dress from:
University Function Room, Building 8, Ground floor (next to Kaleide Theatre) between 10 am and 5 pm.

RMIT Graduation Parade (9.30 am). RMIT Graduation Ceremony held at Telstra Dome (7.30 pm).
