New Britain Middle School Officials Confirm Sex Incident

School administrators today confirmed an allegation made earlier this week that two Pulaski Middle School students engaged in a sexual act in class.

Ron Jakubowski, assistant superintendent of schools, said that the students were disciplined Wednesday, the same day administrators found out about the incident.

The students, who are in the eighth grade, were in a classroom on Monday with other students and a substitute teacher when the incident occurred.

Jakubowski declined to say how the students were disciplined, citing privacy laws, but said they were both disciplined equally. Read more
