Whats left camers in the computer screen and the TV in every house. The USA people are being watched sooooooo much that they don,t even know it. WELCOME to Commuisit USA

Yes. If you are a diplomat you can murder, steal, run up thousands of parking tickets - and you are immune from prosecution.

BUT, if you are an American Citizen, you have no freedom and no immunity. The constitution is ignored by this President and his administration. George Bush and Dick Cheny and the neo-con gang are keeping us safe and spreading democracy all over the globe - everywhere but in our country. In our own country, they can read your email, intercept and listen in to your telephone calls, find out what books you read at the library,examine your banking records, and confiscate every bit of paper you are carrying, take your laptop, your PDA, that paperback book you bought to read in the airport, confiscate your toothpaste and shampoo, pull down your pants in public to verify that you have a prosthetic leg (and who knows - maybe take that too)- all in the name of "keeping America safe from THE TERRORISTS".

You can complain all you want but, I believe all those that died at 911 would rather have their freedon limited than be dead. I for one, and I have served my country, would rather have my freedom limited. Freedom is not an absolute, it is something to strive for.

Time to remove the tin foil hats, folks. People and items have always been subject to warrantless searches and seizures at border crossings. It is no different from when you arrive from an international flight and customs decides to search your belongings and to seize items or detain individuals believed to be carrying contraband. Believe what you want about this policy being another violation from Bush-Hitler, or whatever it is you are calling him now. Far be it from me to let facts get in the way your political agendas.

They key word is border search. They are looking at items coming across the border.
