The OCB is Oklahoma's Official Chess Publication, for and by the members of the Oklahoma Chess Association. Your help providing material for the OCB and this website will be much appreciated. Please see the material submission methods below.

The content of contributions will not be altered, aside from spelling and serious grammar errors approved by the author for correction.

Please send material for the OCB, including but not limited to:

  • scoresheets,
  • annotated games (ChessBase, PGN or ChessMaster CMG format are preferred, but all others can be used),
  • articles written by members,
  • articles with permission for republication,
  • pictures with captions,
  • historical items,
  • chess related quotes and sayings,
  • cartoons and jokes
  • or anything else you would like to contribute that's appropriate.

Anything that's true, fair, and builds goodwill and better friendships among the membership will be published. The more  the merrier.

OCB Material Submission Methods:
Please contribute items ready to publish without any necessary additional wordsmithing or artwork.

The first preference is to please email any articles or content, ready to use in the OCB. If games are being submitted and you have the ability to export to PGN format, please do so. Otherwise, send me the game in Chessbase archive cbv, ChessMaster cmg or ASCII text format.

You may FAX articles to (918) 343-9095. PLEASE use your highest resolution setting to help facilitate computer Optical Character Recognition conversion of typing to electronic text format. Thanks.

"Snail Mail" via the US Postal service or other ground carrier may also be used. Please send the best possible copy, and preferably not something you need returned. If you need something returned, please provide a self-addressed stamped return envelope with the item. The OCB mailing address is: OCB c/o Mike Swatek, 1006 N Faulkner Place, Claremore OK 74017

You're welcome to email or call me at (918) 342-4245 with any questions.

Thank you for your support of the OCB, Mike Swatek
