The ladies make their moves (May 20, 2007).
Since its inauguration in the year 2000, no female player has won an NSCF Grand Prix Championship - until now. In the 2006-7 season, Jasmine Chen won the championship of the Elementary section, and Reva Singh was the co-champion (with Steven Ma) of the K-1 section.

Grand Prix Trivia (May 1, 2007).
Joshua Abady played 7 times in the 2006-7 season, always in the Reserve section. He finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, medaled once, and did not place once. This could be considered the chessic equivalent of baseball's "hitting for the cycle" (home run, triple, double, single) plus getting a walk, a sacrifice fly, and an out! (Quote from Donna Reis" "That's Josh, he's a well rounded player, I guess he likes to cover all of his bases!")
