Mark Damon Hughes RPG: Kult Compatibility Quiz [Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics] [about]

] Role-Playing Games |

Richard Fichera (c42rf3@cc.dso.hac.com)
>This weekend during our KULT IRC session, we had two folks who had
>never played KULT before. During the ensuing conversation (as we
>tried to convert them to the /True Reality/) I posed a test question
>to see if they would be compatible with KULT (if they could eventually
>be taught to see beyond the Illusion).

>This gave me the idea of putting together a "compatibility" test for
>the uninitiated. But I only have the first question! I look to all
>of you Kultists out there to help "flesh out" this list. Anybody else
>got any ideas?
____________
  1. Could you role-play a dismembered corpse?
    -Richard Fichera (c42rf3@cc.dso.hac.com)
  2. ____________
  3. Would you let something like an axe through your head limit your social life?
  4. How would you react if your SO tried to eat your soul? (if this has already happened then skip this question)
  5. Have you ever had the feeling that you were being watched? that your every move was being followed? That someone was just about to gra... STOP THAT! (actually say this to whoever is being questioned but direct the stop that behind them ^_^ loads of fun.)
    -Toussaint (rbeck@pike.usd.edu)
  6. ____________
  7. Do you ever see people/things that aren't really there?
  8. Do they ever speak to you?
  9. Do they ever come after you, with blades wrapped in leather straps, held by pulsating, skinless hands?
  10. When you have too much caffeine does everything seem to melt into a city of fire? City of crazy people? Really big forest? A small boarding house with thirty rooms and only one community bathroom?
  11. How do you feel about chainsaws? Do they speak with the voice of your mother when you turn the engine on?
  12. Do you ever feel like everyone is out to get you, and the only friend you have is your dog?
  13. Have you ever had a dog explode? Attack you while demonically possessed? Scream Yiddish incantations while you try to sleep?
  14. Whenever you walk past a prison do you see "other things" and hear strange sounds? Past a school? Past a MacDonalds? Past your parents' bedroom?
  15. Does everything seem like a huge conspiracy, where your every move is controlled by an external force, but you're sure it's not a Vampire, Werewolf, Mage, Wraith or Changeling (and sometimes Mummy) doing it?
  16. Tell me about your mother, do you have fantasies? If so, do they involve pentacles and screaming in Latin? If not, please describe in detail.
  17. Same for your father.
  18. And the rest of your family.
  19. And neighbors.
  20. And anyone else you've ever met, or would like to.
  21. Do you often find yourself deciphering cryptic messages in the list of ingrediants on a cereal box?
  22. Is there something about the moon, that makes you.... hunger?
  23. If you had to choose between having the flesh peeled off of your body, layer by layer, until nothing was left but bone as you experienced every moment of it, OR giving birth to cactus/wolverine hybrid (your gender does not matter), WHICH would you pick?
  24. When engaging in sex, do you start seeing yourself as a divine being, with infinte possibilities in this illusionary world you live in? Would you like to? (offer limited to females only)
  25. Does the idea of being hunted through the depths of eternity by creatures made of flesh, leather, plastic, and steel sound appealing to you?
  26. Do you look at New Age Pagans and laugh because they "don't know of the horrors they try to deal with"?
  27. Do you ever get the feeling that you've got more than one person living inside your body? Also, does said "other person" likes to rip his way out of your body, murder everyone close to you, and then plant evidence making you seem to be the killer?
  28. When you were in elementary school gym class, did it ever seem as if all the other students were really fat bloated corpses, and your gym teacher was a dark fiend who thrived off of the misery of children? Did you feel this way in any classes?
  29. Did schools in general seem to be little more than death camps, filled with corpses as far as the eye could see?
  30. When watching a scary film, do you find yourself three days in the future or past, with no recollection of what film you were watching?
  31. Do you still wet the bed at night rather than walk through your dark, scary house to get to the bathroom?
  32. When you look out of the corner of your eye and see a dark shape running, do others see it with you?
  33. Do any of your possessions scream "WORSHIP ME!!! WORSHIP ME!!!" besides your computer or television?
  34. What kind of offerings do you give to such things you own?
  35. Would you rather be killed by an indescribable monster who's facial hair alone drives you insane OR a big creature covered in chrome plated exhaust pipes and weilding a dozen meat cleavers?
  36. Have you ever been possessed, subjected to Satanic rituals, chased through a sewer full of corpses, or heard the phrase "rodents, rodents, rodents" when the "Phantom of the Opera" soundtrack is played backwards?
    -D.J. (sbabb@comp.uark.edu)
  37. ____________
  38. Ever have an imaginary friend? Did the dog growl at him? Did he ever speak to you in Greek? Did he ever kill anything/one?

    -Dan T Williamson (dtw@IDM.COM)
  40. ____________
  41. Ever run into someone on the street that knew your name and everything about you, and when you looked closer, looked exactly like you?
  42. Have you or any family member ever went out for smokes/pizza/road-beers, just across the street and ended up on the other side of town? The state? The country? A different continent entirely?
  43. Is there a special room in your house which you feel needs to be ritually cleansed? Did you employ someone to do so? Did they die in the process?
  44. Are you now or have you ever been affiliated with a group which uses the term `anthroprophagia' in any way, shape, or form, or do you or anyone you know know the meaning of the term?
  45. If you wish to excite a lover, sexually, do you need any kind of rare incinses, oils or alkaloids found in the mid-east?
  46. Have you ever hand-crafted a device or weapon and incorporated bits of organic tissue? While it was still alive? While it was still attached? Where the device/weapon was attached to a living being?
  47. When/if you masturbate, do/would you use one hand, two hands, a blender, a tentacle, someone else's (severed) hand, a Hand of Glory, and/or all of the above?
    -Alexander Williams (thantos@RUNIC.MIND.ORG)
  48. ____________
  49. Have you been mistaken as a lictor by your own doppelganger? It happened to me, and scary it was too. I thought this stranger who looked and dressed very similar to me was going to beat the sh*t out of me. But I guess he was even more frightened of me.
-William (Not a lictor, honest) Hoad (100702.2162@COMPUSERVE.COM)
