problem one. Mexico has to take care of its citizens, Period. Fix Mexico and you Fix the influxs of mexicans coming here.The United States
needs to place santions on mexico.The people of mexico must fight and die for their human rights in there country of Mexico.
problem two. Mexico should secure their boarder not allowing mexicans into this country.
As you can see , they wont and never will.
The United States must take action against mexico.
Mexicans must take action aganist mexico.

Wouldn't it be easier just to make a large chasm running along the border with slicked walls?

It seems SOME people did not learn or pay attention during history class.
Walls DO NOT contain people. Its proven many times over and over. Look at the great wall of China, the Berlin wall, etc. People still managed to get over or around these walls and eventually most of these walls were dismantled.
Therefore, looking at the wall now being built between Mexico and the U.S. seems most likely to be FUTILE, not to mention the cost that could be put to better use.
People, pull out your history books. Walls are NOT the answer.

It is about 12 (or more)years too late. It is like trying to insure a burning house. BUT that is our government for ya. Someone is just trying to get elected, and by putting up a fence it looks like they are "doing" something. You can build all the fences/walls in the world, and what good will it do if you don't put in a gate? Or you shoot/imprison the "gate-keepers"? It's just a ploy, and I'm not buying.(paying, tho I see...). But they DO NEED to start somewhere.(clue:Enforce some laws?) And to clue you in "pjam" this hasn't been the "land of the free" for quite some time, unless you are a minority. And I don't think that motto was created to mean that anyone can trespass and do whatever they please.

wow how many years now? I think congress and the fence builders should be paid based upon job performance and productiviy!

Enforcing the laws on the books will help with the problem of ILLEGAL COCKROACH peasants who slip across the border to find illegal work. But a fence is needed to help put a stop to the drug cartels who seem to cross the border at will.
