Douglas C. Lord

Doug and Michelle Lord reside in Rochester, New York. They are Canadian citizens. They have three children, a son-in-law and a grand-daughter who all reside in Canada, Frances (Lord) McCallum, Matt McCallum, Julie Lord, Andrew Lord and Lilly McCallum.

Michelle is a graduate of Ryerson Polytechnic Institute in Fashion design and currently designs and makes jewelry. Doug is the President of the U.S. Solutions Group for Xerox Corporation. He was appointed to this position in December 2007.

Doug Lord is responsible for the full portfolio of products, services and solutions sold by the Xerox direct sales force in the United States as well as the leadership of the joint venture with Xerox Capital Services.

Doug Lord holds an honors degree in economics and political science from McMaster University 

in Hamilton, Ontario that he received in 1973. Upon graduation, he was appointed special assistant to the Federal Minister of Labor on Parliament Hill and remained in Ottawa in this assignment through 1976.

Lord joined Xerox Canada in 1976 as a sales representative in Hamilton, Ontario. He completed a variety of progressively more senior sales assignments, culminating in his promotion to District Sales manager for Manitoba and Saskatchewan from 1984-1987. He then joined Xerox Canada headquarters and completed a variety of roles in many cross-functional assignments including Marketing, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Administration, Customer Service, and Quality. He was appointed vice president of Xerox Canada in 1990. In 1996, he was appointed vice president and general manager of the Greater Toronto Area Customer Business Unit; dramatic growth in profit, revenue and market share were recorded during his tenure there. He and Michelle moved to Stamford Connecticut, where he was Vice President of Marketing for the Developing Markets Organization before being named Senior Vice President, Graphic Communications for North America. Lord was named President, CEO and Chairman of Xerox Canada in 2003.

Doug also serves as a director for Inscape Corporation.
