Parkside is a neighborhood in San Francisco. It originally began as a specific district, but today it is generally considered as part of the Outer Sunset neighborhood of the Sunset District.

The exact border of the district is not clear. But according to local population, the northern border is generally Ortega Street (according to some other sources, Noriega Street) and the eastern border is 19th Avenue. Ocean Beach forms its western border, while Sloat Boulevard forms its southern border.

There aren't many notable buildings around the neighborhood. The commercial area on Taraval Street is attractive. The L Taraval of the Muni Metro provides a mode of transportation to downtown. The Parkside branch of the San Francisco Public Library is also located in the area.

Most of the residents who live in the area are Asian American (mostly Chinese American), a result of a demographic shift that began in the late 1960s and accelerated from the 1980s as Asian immigration to San Francisco increased dramatically.

The neighborhood is represented by District 4. The current District 4 supervisor is Carmen Chu.
