Student will see that a lot of their every day activities are possible because of imported goods. RESOURCES/MATERIALS: dice, imported candy (students bring it) ACTIVITIES AND PROCEDURES: Students need to bring a list from home of twenty items that are imported. This list would be done at the start of you world trade unit. All the rest of this activity should be done at the end of your unit. Game 7-11 1. Have students bring candy that is made in another country. (Give bonus points for those that bring the candy.) 2. Place all candy in the middle of the floor, have students circle around. 3. Each student will roll the dice until all the candy is removed from the pile. Students take the candy and hide it when they roll 7, 11 or doubles. When all the candy is gone you will set a timer for 5-10 minutes, have students continue to roll the dice during this period. When 7, 11 or doubles are rolled the student that rolled it ask another student for their hidden candy. If they asked for the wrong candy, too bad. Continue, this way until the timer goes off. 4. Before students eat their candy have them find on the wrapper where the candy was made.
