The "ROTTERDAM" is Holland America's Flagship. At 59,000 gr. tons, she is considered a medium sized cruise liner by today's standards.  On this cruise, she carried a crew of just under 600 to service the 1300 passengers who are bound for a two week Western and Southern Caribbean cruise touching ports in The Bahamas, Costa Rica, Panama, Aruba, The Dutch Antilles, The Cayman Islands and Key West.
