Try to get the most out of each move. Bring fresh force into play rather than move a
piece that is already in play. This principle applies right through the game.
The player who completes h/er development first has the initiative, which is a real advantage.
The problem of where to place your
pieces when you develop them is solved by the maxim: centralize. Let every
piece have some bearing on the center.
