Cybersquatting
Law Preview, the prelaw prep course, has charged the Bar/bri bar review with
cybersquatting, unfair competition, and trademark infringement. Bar/bri
registered the domain name of its competitor LawPreview.org
and pointed the URL at Bar/bri's own prelaw course. Bar/bri has since
relinquished the name.

Law Preview Ask Bar/bri
To End Misleading Prelaw Advertising
Georgetown U. and Law Preview, the prelaw
prep course, have separately asked Bar/bri to stop misleading
advertising for its prelaw course. In a letter to Richard Conviser, Bar/bri's
63-year-old chairman, Georgetown's prelaw adviser said Bar/bri's
website falsely implied that Georgetown endorses Bar/bri's prep course.
Separately, Law Preview accused Bar/bri of false and misleading testimonials
and endorsements, and of multiple FTC violations. Bar/bri has since corrected
