Crazyhouse

Crazyhouse is a two-player version of Bughouse, and it bears a striking resemblance to the Chess/Shogi hybrid Chessgi. Like Chessgi and Shogi, Crazyhouse is played with drops. The game is played with the orthodox chessboard and pieces, but captured pieces change sides and may be dropped back on the board on a subsequent turn. Consequently, it should be played with reversible pieces, two chess sets, or through a computer interface.

Crazyhouse follows the rules of regular Chess with the following exceptions:

On March 21, 2001, the ZRF was updated to include the faux marble board pictured here. This board was made from fractals made to look like marble, not from real marble.
