Introduction

Of the wealth of games in existence, there are some which people have played for many years and centuries. These include card and board games. Some of these games, for example chess, are more than four hundred years old, and checkers was found in the burial chamber of Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamen, and the first references to cards have been dated by historians to the 10th century AD.
