ICCF Congress in Seixal, Portugal
USA Players Receive New Titles
15 October 2002
At the annual ICCF Congress in Seixal, Portugal the President of ICCF has
presented the certificates and medals for new titles. Six USA players received
new titles this year.

SIM Title ... Edward Duliba
Dario Biella Bianchi confirms that Mr. Edward Duliba achieved the SIM title by
attaining an IM norm in the VII Panamerican Team Tournament, Board I. He
qualifies under rule 52b; two norms with fixed rating above 2450 at the start
dates.
SIM Title ... Stephen L. Jones
Mr. Stephen L. Jones achieved the SIM title by attaining an IM norm in WC21sf9
start date 15 December 1995, 8/14, a GM norm in OL14s4b1, 7.5/11, and an IM
norm in WC24sf5 start date 30 March 2000, 6/10.
IM Title ... Edgardo V. Limayo
Mr. Grayling Hill, TD, confirmed that Mr. Edgardo V. Limayo achieved the IM
title when he attained 8.5 points in 14 games in the 1st NAPZ Email
Invitational.
IM Title ... Dr. Jason Bokar (see Player Profile)
Jorgen Axel Neilsen, TD, confirms that Dr. Jason Bokar achieved the IM title
when he attained 8 points in 14 games in the MATE Postal B.
IM Title ... Craig W. Jones
Ralph Marconi, TD, confirms that Mr. Craig W. Jones achieved the IM title when
he attained 8 points in 14 games in the 9th North American Invitational
Correspondence Chess Championship. His rating at the start of the event was
2482.
IM Title ... Christopher T. Sergel (see
Player Profile)
Roald Bertelsen confirms that Mr. Christopher T. Sergel achieved the IM title
when he attained 7 points in 11 games in the Olympiad 14, Sec. 4, Board 3. He
had earned his first norm in the 23 World Championship Semi-final, Sec. 1.
