ICCF-U.S. Office Announces USA Team for
14th Olympiad - Final Round

Dear Chessfriends,

ICCF-US is pleased to announce the team for the 14th Olympiad Final Round, also known as the 1st Email Olympiad. Our team members are: GM Alik Zilberberg, 9th USCCC Champion SIM Stephen L. Jones, SIM Dan Fleetwood, SIM Gary L. Kubach, IM Christopher Sergel, and IM Jeffery Tilghman. Our reserves are IM Tony Albano and Richard Aiken. IA Tom Dougherty will serve as our Team Captain.

Our team will be playing teams from Argentina, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Romania, Russia, and Switzerland.

The tournament is scheduled to start December 27, 2002. Starting information will be sent directly from the Title Tournaments Office around December 1st.

It is quite an honor for our team to have made it to the Final Round. We are proud to have them representing our country. We know they will have many challenges facing the best that the World has to offer. We wish our team members Good Luck, Good Chess, and Victory!
