The Blind Olympiads are very poorly documented in chess literature and Web archives. Only 2000 and 2004 Olympiads recieved full coverage while for the rest only final standings are available (even that is not available for some events).

Tarragona 2004

  • The quality of data from this event was extremely poor. Facing major problems I managed to compile most complete version of the data but still a few games are missing. Moreover, you might expect that the data is not 100% reliable. Sorry for inconvenience, but please complain to the organizers.
  • According to the data Greek team fielded as much as two reserve players which is clearly in contradiction to IBCA Olympiad rules (where only one reserve per team is allowed).
  • Round 1 KAZ-PER: it is not known who of team Kazakhstan received a bye on board 4 (because Peru fielded only three men leaving board #4 empty.
  • Round 2 GRE-NED: pairing at board #2 and #3 are not known.
  • Round 3 NED-TKM: originally pairing was vague, I recovered the pairing but this has to be confirmed.

  • Round 9 NOR-PER: it is not known who of team Norway received a bye on board 4 (because Peru fielded only three men leaving board #4 empty.
