Each national federation may enter an unlimited number of school teams in each age category. The team composition is four pupils (plus one reserve) from the same school; any combination of boys and girls is possible. An extra bonus for the winners is that FIDE awards the title of FIDE Candidate Master to each player of the winning team, subject to the individual achieving 50% from games played.
