This is the ideal book for serious adult players who want to improve. It details a study plan which cam about thanks to a reevaluation of standard chess teaching and includes several unique components aimed at improving deficiencies in the play of adult players. The author is unique in that he hugely improved his own rating over a twelve month period following his own advice. This is in sharp contrast to most books aimed at this level which are usually written.

How does our star rating system work?
Well, when a new product comes on our list we assign it a rating of 2 (good). If a product sells well it gets promoted to 3 (excellent). If it sells poorly we demote to 1 (average). This is sales-based over a 6 month period. We also have our own picks of good authors or highly regarded products eg. books and software written by Kasparov or Dvoretsky are regarded as top quality as are ebony wooden sets! These are assigned 3 (excellent).
