What is OpenGL? OpenGL is the graphics system used by Chess Commander. All versions of Windows since Windows 95 have come with OpenGL installed. Too look its best, Chess Commander needs hardware accelerated OpenGL. If your PC is under 5 years old then it is likely to have this. It is a good idea to download the latest graphics drivers from the manufacturer of your video card, although this is not required to run Chess Commander.
