Black to move and win

Did you notice that the black knight on c4 covers White’s d2 escape square?  And did you notice that if Black moves his Bishop off of e7 his e8 rook pins the white knight at e2?  These are important concepts.  So, let’s consider moving the bishop.  Where to?  Can we play ...Bxh4 with check?  Will that lead us to our goal of checkmate?

26...Bxh4+

What if the rook captures our bishop?  That would be great!  Great because the white knight is pinned and we can get our queen to g1 for mate.  27.Rxh4 Qg1#

But White sees that; so he plays g3 to block our bishop check.  What would we do if White moved his king to f1?  Answer: after 27.Kf1, Qf2 is mate.  And so we see:

27.g3

Now what?

27...Bxg3+
28.Kf1

Forced.

28…Qf2#
