Manhunter: San Francisco (Sierra On-Line, 1989)

This game, the second (and apparently final) installment in the Manhunter series corrected many of the problems from the previous game. The biggest difference between the two games is that this one takes place in San Francisco rather than New York, though the ending to this game suggests a brighter future than that of Manhunter: New York, as the endgame portion consists of destroying the orbs and inciting a slave revolt to help the humans in San Francisco back to power. Several good arcade sequences (and fewer mazes!) accentuate this game in all the right places. Manhunter: San Francisco is definitely worth playing if you enjoyed the first one, though you might not understand most of the nuances if you haven't played it.
