Wonderland (Virgin Mastertronic, 1990 or so)

Based upon Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, Wonderland is a game in the Infocom tradition, though it uses complex windowing, music, and graphics to augment the gaming experience, though there is no story beyond completing the story. The flavor of the novel on which it is based is well-evident, and it features puzzles of the calibre and type that Carroll would have written (if you are familiar with the book, it will probably assist you in playing the game), but it is not very difficult, and has a hint system that gives away a little too much at one time. If you enjoy Carroll's book or text adventures, you will like this, but there is little other reason to play it.
