Kabuliwala

Kabuliwala is a story written by Bengali writer Rabindranath Tagore.

Two films have been produced based on this story, both named Kabuliwala. The first was filmed in Bengali in 1956 by Tapan Sinha,[1] and the second in Hindi in 1961, by Hemen Gupta.[2] The 1961 film was the source of the Bollywood song Aye mere pyaare watan.
