How could 55% vote to resign in the last move but the move ended up being Nf5?

of course it matter tulsa, who wants to play to checkmate.  I saw the forced mate before Be7+ was played, but we couldn't muster up a resign vote.

EDIT:  That comment was Webgogs way of trying to feel like a big man.

Doesn't look like black's team will have to worry about the resign vote. What was it Webgogs said (I believe it's the first posting in these public comments)?  Tongue out

BAH 59% resign.  That's it, everybody who did not vote for resign the last 2 moves is going on my blocked list!

Sorry, my mistake with the e5 move, black is mated the next move. I hope I did not make any illusions for U1800 that they could survive.

No febm2, black can hang on a few more moves with e5. I had though surrendered the game after the 9th move which was a terrible strategic move. You can simply press the join team button in the upper right corner (in the yellow box).

How to join a team? Not this game, black should resign now. Checkmate after f2-3!

Put simply, of course rating matters! Kind of wonder why we even did this rematch.  Little leaguers Vs the Red Sox!  Who will win?  Gee i wonder?!

Nf7+ is great for white. As a member of the black side, I hoped I've timed this well enough that it won't affect their move.

Let's answer this question: can the collective wisdom of players under 1800 beat those over 1800 who may fall apart due to pride and arguing??? Let's see!

Team work in the 1800+ team has been excellent. No sign of pride and arguing.

I've tried the U1800 team for a while, but now the board won't display.
Also we have made obvious mistakes but we didn't play under our average strength. Losing doesn't really bother me but ignored reasoning can be annoying at times.
But under 1800 means you have lack of experience and skill, that's a confronting comment from a potential team member. But maybe that's just to your standards (?!?)
And our team being retarded. I'd gladly try to explain moves we've made to show you how retarded we are. I'm sure with your help we'd be winning right now just like I'm sure how cheater_1's new engine would beat deep blue.
Losing isn't what bothers me.
cheers

Georgetownlaw, you ever wonder why the ratings are under 1800? It's lack of skill, and experience. You should lay off.

Theodred I feel exactly the same, I tried to help but no one listened and instead made incorrect moves. At last I got so frustrated so I resigned.

P.S I dont think U1800's position is anything else than lost.

U1800 deosn't listen to my advice. My rating is actually quite low which is due to the fact I did not have access to internet which subsequently led to my defeat = rating drop in winning game :(

So IMO, you should have a choice, if you were chosen by rating, you might have lost all you games due to ISP problems which would mean you would drop in ratings and not have a chance to play in the over 1800 side.
