Well, not in everyone's book. CNN and Fox give gold silver and bronze the same value. What's the point in winning gold when a bronze is equally as good?

Maybe the Chinese are using a time machine to win.

Thanks for the video. It shows that Phelps did touch before his competitor. After the race and the review, the sanctioning body and Mr. Cavic agreed that video evidence shows that Phelps did win.

Reading the article almost made me puke; what a bunch of anti-corporate rubbish.

There is such a thing as a tie in the Olympics. But the official time recorded Phelps as the winner. So the victory is his and his only. There can be no other winner.

Michael Phelps admitted he was behind in the race. The competetor ran out of forward thrust and missed touching the finish mark. Michael Phelps made a last second half stroke and touched the mark first. It was a missed touch that put the first place swimmer into second place.
