CA - Holcomb Valley Scout Reservation
Holcomb Valley Scout Reservation is located on the site of the old Hitchcock Ranch of Holcomb Valley. Rich in the history of the colorful and often violent gold rush days of 1855 - 1865, the valley was discovered by Bill Holcomb hunting bear in 1859.

MD - Broad Creek Memorial Scout Res.
Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation (BCMSR) in 1998 is the 6th largest largely undeveloped block of land in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Over 50 years old this site gives the detailed history of the camp.
MI - Camp Kanesatake History
In 1926 the Council purchased 27 acres of land for $5,000.00 on the North shore of Washington Lake which included the old smoke tower, buried in its center. The name Kanesatake was chosen because it was an Indian term which meant "Camp on a Hill."
MI - Northwoods Scout Reservation
This former camp was manly closed in 1979 and finally sold off in 1986. Site has history, patches, lists of former staff members, and other details.
MN - Many Point Scout Camp History Ctr
According to Many Point Camp Director Bob Gagner, the new Many Point History Center is one of only TWO history centers present at any Scout Camp in the United States! The other is - PHILMONT!
MO - Camp Osceola (H. Roe Bartle S.R.)

NY - Western New York Scout Camps

NY - Camp 12 Pines
The old Oswego County Council operated this camp from 1928-1977.
NY - Camp Eatonbrook
This site chronicles a now closed scout camp from the Madison County Council in Oneida NY.
NY - Camp Loyalty
Camp Loyalty on Crooked Lake, at the foot of Tully Mountain, near Tully, New York (3 miles) was used as a Scout Camp by Scouts from Syracuse from 1913-1929.
NY - Camp Onondaga
In 1927, 1928 and 1929 Camp Onondaga operated on the island in Crooked Lake. This camp in Tully NY was operated by the Onondaga Council.
NY - Camp Portaferry History
Originally part of the great McComb's Purchase, many relics have been found, the most recent being two dugout canoes. In 1983, a consolidation between the Jefferson-Lewis and Saint Lawrence Councils was completed. Camp Vigor-of-the-Woods was sold.
NY - Camp Syracuse
This is a camp that ran from 1923 - 1939 by the Onondaga-Cortland Council. It was in the Adirondack Mountains on Seventh Lake and Brown's Tract.
NY - Camp Wauwepex
This page is made of the personal recollections and historical facts of this camp as presented by Bill Cotter. This camp is now known as the Schiff Scout Reservation.
NY - Indian Village Camp
In 1928 and 1929 an Indian Village was set up on the north side of the swamp along Crooked Lake. Operated by the Onondaga Council.
NY - Kamp Kamargo
Operated by the Jefferson-Lewis Council from 1921 to 1946, the old camp was located at Lake Bonaparte in Harrisville NY.
NY - Massawepie Scout Camps History
This site contains information on the history of the Massawepie Scout Reservation in New York's Adirondack Mountains and the previous Hotel Childwold.
NY - Nine Mile Island Camp
The history of Nine Mile Island Camp, Inc. as we know it today started with three North Tonawanda Boy Scout Troops back in the 1950's. This history is still being edited by Rick Seymour but already is among the most extensive we link to.
NY - Onteora Scout Reservation
Onteora is one of two camps owned by the Theodore Roosevelt Council, formerly Nassau County Council, of Long Island. The Council had closed Onteora a few years ago, the victim of declining Scout enrollment.

Ram's Gulch short term camp was probably patterned after Toad Hollow, a cabin camp near Buffalo, conceived by Conrad Meinecke, Buffalo Scout Executive, It is a defunct camp of the Onondaga Council that operated from 1919 - 1970.

OH - Camp Hook
Originally opened in 1926 as a scout camp it was one of Greenbar Bills Favorite camps. Once operated by Dan Beard Council, all activities at Camp Hook have been canceled and the camp is no longer available to Scouts as of the beginning of 1997.
OH - Camp Miakonda
It's facilities were incredible and unmatched. World's longest swimming pool (480 feet), 8 treehouse campsite, flagpole was the main mast off a Great Lakes freighter with a crows nest. This camp was a part of the Toledo Area (Now Erie Shores) Council.
PA - Camps of the old Mid-Valley Council
This is a listing of the camp properties in Northeast Pennsylvania from the 1930's & 1940's. Camps included: Camp Walum Olum 1932 - 1935, Camp Van Dyke 1936 - 1941, Fox Pond Scout Camp 1943, & Camp Edward 1944 - 1985..

TX - Worth Ranch Patches History
Scouting uses patches as means to recognize attendance, participation or accomplishments. Patches have been used at Worth Ranch for all of the above reasons. While most of the original central buildings were constructed in 1930.
