About Me:

I'm a network consultant (Click --> The Open File) and amateur astronomer (Click --> Catalog of M51 Galaxay Type Associations).

I have won the Florida State Chess Championship twice (1981 & 1983), and won the 1981 Lawrence Pfefferkorn Open. I'm a USCF Life Master.

I write a weekly column on Chess.com called The Open File.  Check it out.

"Chess is a sea in which elephants may bathe and gnats may drink". In other words, you can enjoy chess no matter what your level of skill.

I'm available for lessons.  Check out my "Coach Profile" if you're interested.
