ABOUT THE ART GROUP
The
Art Group is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit cooperative of artists whose goal
is to
promote the art and artists of the Shenandoah Valley in a
fun and relaxed community atmosphere.
TAG has exhibit windows fronting on Route 11, which is the main street of Mt. Jackson and the main thoroughfare of the Shenandoah Valley.
This gallery is open to visiting artists on a monthly basis. All forms of art are welcome, including, but not limited to painting, photography, pottery, sculpture, fabric, and stained glass.
Art works of resident and visiting artists are displayed for viewing and sale throughout the building.
The Art Group offers classes, workshops and demonstrations on various artistic techniques and mediums. Many of these classes are hands-on experiences allowing the participants to unleash their creative potential in a supportive and cooperative environment.
