Genre and what to do:
Action. Experience thrill and danger of being a pilot during World War II! According to data of the Allies secret service, Nazi has worked up new sea lanes to convey ammunition and new weapons to distant battlefields. Now it is your turn to get down to business. As an ace fighter pilot you are ordered to find and annihilate the enemy cargo ships. There is a maneuverable fighter armed with two deadly gun machines and anti-ship torpedoes to your disposal. Don't expect that it would be easy to carry out the order since the cargo ships are guarded by elite navy and air forces. Go ahead a brave hero to victory and glory!
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
World War II Flying Ace is intense action that features solid 3D graphics, standard set of sound effects and appropriate rock music. As for graphics, it needs serious polishing. Sea and ships look ugly and unrealistic. The fighter is designed better though it lacks details. Interface is standard with nothing new; it indicates number of lives, score and quantity of destroyed ships. In-game options are diverse; they allow adjusting resolution, color depth, brightness, music, sound effects, difficulty level and controls. All-in-all, World War II Flying Ace is one of hundreds shooters with slight originality and old concept, it needs serious polishing before I can recommend it.
