Vischer: Why is this played? It just immediately sends the knight back to g8, seems like a loss of tempo to me.
May-02-04   Dudley: Black has provoked a pawn advance by white which creates a weakness on f5 and weakens the d5 square. The knight can redeploy to e7 or h6.
May-02-04   hongisto24: well, it is officially dead...no one played it for several years...and if someone did...it was for shock value.
May-03-04   BiLL RobeRTiE: Not true! I think this line is considered the harshest test of White's idea (3 e4). Somebody elaborate?

cuendillar: Looking in the database it looks like white has scored excellent with it the last few years, almost like if it was refuted.

Kings Indian: opening of the day! I prefer 1.c4 e5 going into a reversed closed sicilian but this opening seems fine. It's just a Macrozy Bind, whats so bad about that?

WannaBe: It looks like, it can easily be transposed to the Moroczy Bind!
