| twinlark: Instead of <32...Na5??>, <32...Ra2!> was the way to go. |
Sep-11-08 |
| tsj2000: Great win by Humpy!Proved that she is the world champion. No body can take the crown away from year this year! Go Humpy!! |
Sep-11-08 |
| trapdor: man, i hate this. Yifan lost! I hope she can do better tomorrow. |

| Xenon Oxide: Yes, she should take a deep breath and shrug this loss off. |

| truefriends: < Xenon Oxide: Yes, she should take a deep breath and shrug this loss off. > Can we expect this from a 'little girl' just 15 years old? ;-) |
Sep-11-08 |
| trapdor: tsj2000, everybody knows you are Humpy lover. But I guess most of us here agree Hou played much better chess than Humpy for most of the time. Go Yifan! Give us better chess and win the championship. |

| DCP23: Alexandra Kosteniuk goes to the Final! Bravo! |

| Xenon Oxide: <truefriends> Maybe it is too much of an expectation, but the Chinese are very mentally resilient. ;-) |

| slomarko: 32...Na5?? a real patzer like move |
Sep-11-08 |
| tsj2000: Dear Trapdor, Dont be a blind supporter of Hou. Yesterday if Humpy played Ne3 instead of Na4, she would have won in the end game. Again one move made the difference. Humpy is truely the world champion!
Go Humpy!! |

| Xenon Oxide: <slomarko: 32...Na5?? a real patzer like move> Every GM makes pazter-like moves from time to time. |
Sep-11-08 |
| Shockwave: 2 rapid games and maybe blitz and armageddon tomorrow! Can't wait! |

| alexmagnus: That blunder is somewhat mysterious... I mean, she moved the knight to c6 just two moves ago, exactly for the reason... |
Sep-11-08 |
| unsound: Would anyone care to post the position before 32...Na5? I'd much appreciate it. |
Sep-11-08 |
| trapdor: tsj2000, blind supporter? Wake up man.
I'd say I won't be surprised if Humpy or Hou or Kosteniuk win the championship.
But Humpy the truely world champion? With Judit out there, I don't think Humpy is. |

| Xenon Oxide: The blunder is especially weird cause Hou just needed a draw. She could just shuffle her pieces and do nothing for a few moves to build up her increments, then start thinking. She didn't even need the extra pawn. But what position am I in to criticise an IM. |
Sep-11-08 |
| ingberg: <But what position am I in to criticise an IM.> You can criticise but she's not an IM. |

| hitman84: Yifan Hou crumbles under pressure. She needs to shrug off this loss pretty soon. |
Sep-11-08
| wanabe2000: Yifan Hou is a WGM and according to FIDE at http://www.fide.com/component/conte...
she is a GM elect seemingly skipping over the IM title. |
Sep-11-08 |
| unsound: Thanks very much, <DCP23>. |
Sep-11-08 |
| unsound: And <ouch>. |

| Pawnsgambit: I hope Humpy wins the World championship, she deserves to win. If she continue her good run she can cross 2700 pretty soon. Best luck Humpy. |
Sep-11-08 |
| trapdor: If Hou gets in the final, she will get another GM norm and will become the youngest female GM in history. |
Sep-11-08 |
| Strafe: Yifan Hou posts her second loss of the championships. 12 games, +10, -2 & one draw. Not bad!
Does anyone know if she's good at blitz?lol |
