Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-05-08   parisattack: Not strictly an O'Kelly (move order) but a nice game! I think the O'Kelly is making a small comeback. To find trends in opening variations I keep a chart of the average rating of the players using them - and the O'Kelly has been creeping up for over a year.
Sep-05-08   euripides: With 5.Be2 White seems to ask Black to go back into the Scheveningen, but Black doesn't oblige. After Bb4 the white bishop might be better off on d3. Instructive that the doubled pawns seem to outweigh the two bishops here.
