Buffets meals are not usually to my taste – I’m apt to think of the food as plastic, flavourless or having that mass-produced taste common to many commercial packet mixes. However, recently we accompanied friends to the Acacia Restaurant at the Novotel Hotel in Greenlane and for the first time elected to try the buffet dinner.
