Thomas Jewett is Associate Professor in the Education Division of McEndree College in Lebanon, Illinois. He is also Emeritus Professor from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.

Author of eight books on history, science and education, Professor Jewett has also written 75 articles on the same subjects. He is the recipient of numerous awards for teaching and scholarship, and is listed in Who's Who in America.
