Gates should be apologizing for all the pre-911 deaths the U S was responsible for by training and backing dictatorial governments all over the world. I guarantee you the number far excedes the 3000 + deaths of 911. For every action there is an opposite and equal re-action. Our hands are not that much cleaner then theirs.

As sad as it is, you will always have some civilian casualties in a war zone.
It is an unavoidable part of the business of war.
They have given their lives for the freedom of the country.
My prayers go out for the comforting of the relatives.
Lets get this job done as soon as possible and get our troops home.

What do you say to that?
Oh, I lost my child and my spouse and my home, but now that you've said you're sorry, well, I feel tons better.
Do you realize how much trouble would be raised if a nation did that to U.S.?

Well, I guess it’s about that time to post Kevin Tillman’s powerful document,(for those who haven’t read it yet)
Especially now since he spoke and still speaks the truth. Boy does he speak the truth. And he says the things I would have liked to have said, only he says far better then I ever could. And it never seems to be out of date since nothing has really changed since he wrote it several years ago. And what better gift then to post what Kevin Tillman had to say.

Kevin Tillman joined the Army with his brother Pat in 2002, and they served together in Iraq and Afghanistan. Pat was killed in Afghanistan on April 22, 2004 (was it friendly fire or was it premeditated murder?).

“Somehow back at home, support for the soldiers meant having a five-year-old kindergartener scribble a picture with crayons and send it overseas, or slapping stickers on cars, or lobbying Congress for an extra pad in a helmet. It’s interesting that a soldier on his third or fourth tour should care about a drawing from a five-year-old; or a faded sticker on a car as his friends die around him; or an extra pad in a helmet, as if it will protect him when an IED throws his vehicle 50 feet into the air as his body comes apart and his skin melts to the seat.
Somehow the more soldiers that die, the more legitimate the illegal invasion becomes.
Somehow American leadership, whose only credit is lying to its people and illegally invading a nation, has been allowed to steal the courage, virtue and honor of its soldiers on the ground.
Somehow those afraid to fight an illegal invasion decades ago are allowed to send soldiers to die for an illegal invasion they started.
Somehow faking character, virtue and strength is tolerated.
Somehow profiting from tragedy and horror is tolerated.
Somehow the death of tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of people is tolerated.
Somehow subversion of the Bill of Rights and The Constitution is tolerated.
Somehow suspension of Habeas Corpus is supposed to keep this country safe.
Somehow torture is tolerated.
Somehow lying is tolerated.
Somehow reason is being discarded for faith, dogma, and nonsense.
Somehow American leadership managed to create a more dangerous world.
Somehow a narrative is more important than reality.
Somehow America has become a country that projects everything that it is not and condemns everything that it is.
Somehow the most reasonable, trusted and respected country in the world has become one of the most irrational, belligerent, feared, and distrusted countries in the world.
Somehow being politically informed, diligent, and skeptical has been replaced by apathy through active ignorance.
Somehow the same incompetent, narcissistic, virtueless, vacuous, malicious criminals are still in charge of this country.
Somehow this is tolerated.
Somehow nobody is accountable for this.
In a democracy, the policy of the leaders is the policy of the people. So don’t be shocked when our grandkids bury much of this generation as traitors to the nation, to the world and to humanity. Most likely, they will come to know that “somehow” was nurtured by fear, insecurity and indifference, leaving the country vulnerable to unchecked, unchallenged parasites. Luckily this country is still a democracy. People still have a voice

Brother and Friend of Pat Tillman,
Kevin Tillman

The important thing is that Pat Tillman is in a far better place now, now that God is his President and he no longer has to look at bush’s face and listen to his stupid voice anymore…

WOW - that should make these poor families feel a joyous, profound happiness!!!! What the blip is wrong with this evil government we have in this country!!!
The only thing they are sorry for is that the media exposed them - only once in a while do they get reamed. AND they will still go on and on and on killing, murdering people who we never even met or knew and who did NOT bomb us!!!

Lily you are right I could not have said it better either. I admire the men and women who give thier lives in defense of this country.I don't admire the cowardly leaders who send them to die so they can line thier own pockets. We fought and won our INDEPENDANCE from this kind of government. What was England at the time? England owned us, all of America. We were slaves, white, bakck, pink...youo get it. Yes they gave us jobs but the taxed the crap out of us to pay for their lifestyles. They milked us for our exportables. And they killed a whole lot of people that did not agree with them. The people they sent to this country were criminals, undesireables, people of very strict religious morals, or people with religious morals others than the way that government believed. Well guess what, people like that don't like being told what to do much. They got tired of being over worked, underpaid, and taxed to death. They did not like that someone else could come into your home and tell you how you must live and how you should believe. A lot of very good people fought and died and killed so that we can have the freedoms we are just giving away. They fought to not have a government like that.

Thank you. It's all about making money and it’s also about creating a god in your own image to promote a war as did bush. hasta luego..

I have always known the worst criminals are in government. I just never knew they were so stupid. And we eat it all up. Okay the I know everybody talks about the war. The whole thing was these guys from the dessert hijacked some planes and flew them into the Trade Towers in New York. but the leader of this group of people has some really big guns and can kill us all. We are going to go find them and kill them.(Sounds good to me). We, as a country, got dressed and went to work. That is what we do. Our soldiers get to work, which in this case means going to the dessert, and finds...no big guns. Okay. They just have medium guns. Well ours are bigger. Now these people move from country to country hence the name nomad. So what do we do we go from country to country and blow sh*t up. Not the people who blew our stuff up but these other people.(And I do understand the casualty of war thing, but some of these people had NOTHING to do with the war.) We been looking for how many years now? Never found the guy. Now they can listen to the cell phones, hack the computer, tell me where all the sex offenders live, and put a video feed of my house, in this small town, on the internet for anyone to see....but they can't find a SEVEN foot tall man with a catheter in a cave. He emailed us, he sent us video. This man had people fly planes filled with people fly and crash into really tall buildings filled with people. Do you really think he will care if we kill an unrelated group of people. The people he sent here were his people, friends, followers, whatever. When we flew his family out AFTER the attacks we couldn't be like psst you know where he's at?

Meanwhile our soldiers are over there rebuilding the stuff they just got done destroying. We can't, as a nation, fix up the housing for the poor, we don't have money for schools, people are losing jobs, and we have a national debt that our children won't be able to pay off, but we can afford to blow up a whole bunch of stuff in more than one other country and then turn around and rebuild it? And the democrats are blaming the republicans and the republicans are blaming the democrats. And we divide the same if not worse. We never stop to say hey they are all at fault. On some level the all have a part in it. And the fats cats are ROTFL because they are busy gathering up all the money while we are all fighting. If you are busy fighting your neighbor in the yard you won't see the guy stealing your TV out the back door. And we sit back and take it because they throw us a a shiny bauble once in a while. We are the voice. We can put a stop to it anytime we want to. We are so busy hating each other over skin color and who people want to spend their bedtime with that we overlook the fact that each and every day the very foundations this country was built on is eroded away. And we blame the government. They blame each other. If we are the voice then we are the blame. Checks and balances. We, as the people, are the ultimate check and balance. If we really wanted it to stop we could make it. They can't shut us all up. We keep letting them give themselves more and more money hoping they will do a better job so we won't have to worry. When you reward a dog when it does bad behavior it keeps doing the bad behavior because it thinks that is why it was rewarded. If you keep messing up at work does the boss give you a raise? Nope. So what makes you think that any of them want to really change things? Seriously. If you had a job where you could screw things up so bad that other countries want to kill you and your people, make millions in the process, and not get into any real trouble, maybe have a paycheck for the rest of your life would you give it up? I tell you what they are getting richer while everybody else gets poorer. I bet if they lived in a FEMA trailer instead of a million dollar mansion they would see things differently. We pay them more and more money to keep messing it all up. We can stop it anytime we want to. One voice, our voice. First you hear the rumble...

THIS IS THE ESSENCE OF THE MESSAGE DELIVERED BY THE ADMINISTRATION:

Yeah, we're really freaking sorry about what we did, so here's a paltry few essentially now worthless bucks.

BTW: We're gonna come by later on and accuse you of collusion with the Taliban, and maybe kill you out of spite because you have the freaking temerity to complain about us murdering your kin.

Yessireee bub! Now just shut the hell up and take the worthless bucks, and I don't want to hear a peep about it!

Oh, and wait: There's another airstrike scheduled tonite. If you wait around, you'll have ready-made graves for the dead when we pound the bloody bejesus out of your village with 500lb bombs!

Damn! Ain't we great?!

Gimme a break!

If someone murders another person here in the good ol' US of A, they get charged with the crime, get put on trial, and if found guilty, they are convicted of MURDER.

The term 'I'm sorry' just doesn't cut it.

Whoa!

"They have given their lives?" SAY WHAT??!!

The US of A bombs them into oblivion and the "THEY GAVE THEIR LIVES?!?!

So sorry, but I'm not buying that for a second.

Did =THEY= ask US —the U.S. of A.— to 'free' them?

What MESSAGE TRAFFIC HAVE >YOU< BEEN READING?

The US of A just waltzed on in and INVITED THEMSELVES in to do a bang-up job of MASS MURDER.
Loony2ns wrote:

Yeah, I'll bet they.

BIG — FREAKING — QUESTION — FOR — YOU: What's easier, not having bombed them to begin with, OR saying your sorry for something you should not have done to begin with?

You'll be getting back on THAT one now, won't you?

And then there's that matter of China, then Russia, and then ...

i agree with you on that, I dont believe in sorry for such a heavy serious case, you can't just say sorry after you have killed them. it's lives we're talking about and not silly kids toys! Some people are just cold blooded, they doesnt know how hard it is for parents to raise their kids and all they do is shoot them and say they are sorry..
