Turbine let us know that they'll be taking the Lord of the Rings Online servers down for a bit of maintenance:

The Game Servers will be brought down on Wednesday, September 17th from 6:00 AM -12:00 PM Eastern (-4 GMT) for an update to the game. Thanks for your patience, and we'll see you back in the game soon!

Turbine's shared a little insight into an out of the way place in Middle-earth, a place called Rusfold:

Nestled beneath the rocky walls that hide Esteldín, the hidden refuge of the Dúnedain of the North, is a small encampment of Earth-kin called Rusfold.

Turbine's posted a Dev Diary focused on the new Rune Keeper class coming with the paid expansion for Lord of the Rings Online, the Mines of Moria:
