Combat Wings: Pacific Heroes transfers players to Hawaii, during the Second World War where non-stop air and sea battles take place. 20 intense missions are waiting for you, so be ready for fight against Japanese fighters in air, defense aircraft carriers and your territory, attack enemy positions or aim deadly torpedoes at warships. All the missions are divided into air and ground ones. Air missions let you control one of maneuverable fighters or a bomber that is loaded with deadly arsenal of torpedoes and bombs. The ground missions are defensive ones; you are to defend your land from uncountable herds of enemy aircrafts and infantry using anti-aircraft gun-machines, or artillery.

   Combat Wings: Pacific Heroes is an intense action that features impressive 3D graphics, diverse sound effects and superb visual effects. Graphics is well rendered and appeals by detailed jets, islands and warships. The only complain is depiction of water; it looks ugly and unrealistic. Fire and explosions are bright and vary that helps to create thrilling atmosphere of the battles. There is a training mission that teaches you basics of aircraft control. Before each mission, you get objectives together with some historical data that helps to immerse deeper in the events of those period.
