Word game. Have you ever dreamed of having own TV station to broadcast the latest news all over the world? Breaking News gives you a possibility to run TV station, starting nearly from scratch. And if you play successfully, you may upgrade it, changing into the biggest 21st century news network in the world. There are three game modes: Adventure, Word Search and Relax that meet requirements of even the most fastidious players. Adventure Mode invites players to run a TV studio starting from 1956. Your task is to drag rows and columns with letters in order to form words, which are indicated at the bottom of the screen. You are to act quickly because you need to meet the rating goal before time runs out to proceed to the next level. If you play well you are awarded with trophies and earn money that you can spend on buying upgrades for your studio. Playing Word Search Mode you can earn trophies and buy upgrades for the studio but in the other way. Words are hidden on the grid between chaotically scattered letters and your task is to find enough words to meet or exceed the rating goal to proceed to the next level. As for Relax Mode, there is no time limit and you can.t buy upgrades or earn trophies. Game play goes like that: there is a grid with scattered letters on it and your task is to form words that match the given category ( cars, tools, etc ).
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Breaking News is one of the most interesting word games. It features colorful detailed graphics, diverse sound effects and original instrumental music. The game contains several innovative twists that should be described more detailed. First of all it is the TV studio, which broadcast news. You may enter it any time to watch the working process; you begin with a shabby shed, but as you advance in the game you improve it by purchasing upgrades ( new table, lights, cameras, decorations, etc ). Another highlight is a trophy room, where you may post up to 25 original trophies for outstanding results.
