Genre and what to do:
Word game. Meet a hardworking girl, named Lilly, who has invented the spelling intelligence serum. But the evil Dr. Al Literate wants to steal the serum in order to win the national youth spelling bee. Only you can help Lilly to defeat the evildoer and destroy his plans. Your task is to create words as quickly as possible using nine given letters. But your task is not as easy as may sound because there is a central letter that must be used in all your words. When you create a word of three or more letters you fill in the progress bar; you are to fill the progress bar before the evil doctor does it to proceed to the next level. There are two game modes: Arcade and Relax. Arcade Mode is described above; as for Relax Mode, here, you play as you like without time limit.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Letter Lab is a new interesting twist of word games that features colorful graphics, diverse sound effects and suitable electronic music. Graphics is cute and colorful, though without luxuries. There is quite naïve story represented as comics strip, that begins with introduction and develops as you advance through the game. All in all, despite of absence of power-ups and bonuses, Letter Lab is the amusing game due to innovative game concept and the possibility to compete with the evildoer.
