Ramanakkapeta is a small village in Musunuru Mandal, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is 16 kilometers from Nuzvid and has bus connectivity to Nuzvid, Vijayawada, and Vissannapeta. Neighboring villages are Kondaparva, Chekkapalli, Thurupu Digavalli, and Padamata Digavalli.

Ramanakkapeta is noted for its mango farms, and it is hub of mango production and export business.bhallathaka made using bhallataka (Semecarpus anacardium) herb and its vessel-making industry. Different caste people live in this village amicably. But Kapu caste is predominant community historically. Most of the people in this village have the surnames UPPE Rangu,Chekuri,Nallagopu,Peddireddy,Bayam, Pilli, Thota, Bondala, Namamula, Amirisetty, etc.; and Chitluri, Golla, Vankadaru, Penugonda, etc. of business people; Basavaraju, Vurakaranam, jandhyala,Tummoju etc. of Traditional families. Late Shri Rangu Venkateshwara Rao was president of the village for several terms.

Shri Kathi Krupanandam Garu was a famous teacher and well known for his command in English and Maths teaching in ZP High School and his wife Smt Rajaratnam was also Headmistress in Elementary School.

World-renowned ayurvedic physician Shri Pogula Sankara Rao was born here. Now his son Shri P. Chandrasekhar looks after the village Shiva Temple and Goddess Sri.Mahalakshvamma Temples. This shiva Temple is very old for over 400 years. there are 5 many sri rama temples are there and Siva temple has been reconstructed by the villagers and Vysya business people.

Ramanakkapeta is famous for "Aavada". Aavada is a break fast item only available at Mr.Chekuri Punnaiah Hotel in the village, in Telugu we can call as Perugu Avada

Before 1960's Ramanakkapeta is well famous for Wrought Iron, Casting and other metals manufacturing, above 100 small"Kuteer" industries were there.

The guru "Purushothama nanda" yogi's "Yoga samaadhi" is there in this village.

Lord Shiva temple is on the hill (gattu) the mount is around 1 km height, people who believe in shiva, climb the hill daily and make naivedyam (shiva food is cow milk) and do puja and submit milk for shiva. Sometimes village puroht Mr. Sreemanarayana Sharma Valluri does abhishekams like astotram, saharanama pujas doing. Mr. Sreemanarayana Sharma is a doctor for animals and people like snake attacks, he is providing medicines free of cost and his wife is Vijaya Lakshmi, a teacher..

Many of the talented youngsters play cricket and volleyball regularly in this ground and most of the youngsters willing to spend leisure time in this ground. Ramanakkapeta cricket team won the three tournaments countinously which is held by digavalli committee team, 4th one in the polavaram tournament and they reach finals in the most of the tournaments, as per the team talent the team had a significant name in the surrounding villages.
