ADVAMED’S EMERGING GROWTH COMPANY COUNCIL LAUNCHES NEW WEB SITE

AdvaMedEGCC.org to deliver greater access, information

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The AdvaMed Emerging Growth Company Council (EGCC) today announced the launch of its revamped Web site at http://www.advamedegcc.org/.

The updated EGCC site provides access to a vast number of resources that help smaller, emerging companies succeed in the growing medical technology industry. The site’s easy-to-use navigation buttons give one-click entrance to answers or avenues for answers to their critical questions.

Membership in AdvaMed’s Emerging Growth Company Council and the new site provide significant benefits:

  • Access to insight and analysis by AdvaMed’s expert staff.
  • Issue-specific working groups that put smaller companies in the room with the largest companies to help develop the industry’s agenda.
  • Access to funding sources and business development executives at market-leading companies.
Complimentary monthly conference calls and webinars provide insights on industry “hot topics” and other conferences at reduced rates.
  • Valuable publications, white papers, news resources, “members only” content and a direct path to proprietary EGCC programs.

“Our revamped Web site is a part of our commitment to emerging growth companies to provide high-value, useful, and focused content and functionality to better serve their unique needs. With simplified navigation and thoughtful, instructive content, the new advamedegcc.org is the gateway to more successful future for EGCC members,” said Andrew Calhoun, Associate Vice President of Member Services and primary EGCC contact.

The EGCC is the division of AdvaMed dedicated to providing avenues for increased involvement and visibility for smaller companies. Its purpose is to empower members and provide a forum to advocate their interests, set an action agenda, and identify specific focus areas for the Association to direct its resources to better serve the needs of Emerging Growth Companies. AdvaMed believes that competition and diversity leads to innovation, and too often small companies with big ideas are overwhelmed with regulatory paperwork and red tape. The goal of EGCC is to help small companies through this arduous process and let them focus on what they do best -- advancing the frontiers of modern medicine.
