I love the Betty Boop cartoons with her and little pup Pudgy, he is so cute and these shorts have a little heart too. A playful little kitten named Myron wanders away from his mother (chasing a fly) and comes across Betty's house and landed in a candy box. He eat the candy and gets very sick with a tummy-ache. Betty then ask Pudgy to go the drugstore, and Pudgy rushes to the drugstore and returns not only with a box of catnip, but also with the kitten's mother as well ('cause of the catnip); and thanks to the catnip, the kitten feels better at once.
So I say this cartoon is one of my favorite Betty/Pudgy shorts. I love how Jack Mercer (who was Popeye's voice) does the mother cat, even when called "Myron? Myron?" and the song which is also the title of this cartoon "Happy You and Merry Me" (I wish I could get the lyrics).
