The newest of Howick’s restaurants, the Fig and Olive was packed when we stopped in recently. All evidence of the fire that wiped out the former Hasan Baba had disappeared and the Fig and Olive owners had done a tidy job of refurbishing the site in attractive Mediterranean style.
